F1 embarassment

So how did this happened..

was looking for my best friend's birthday present all alone in the golden triangle on friday,6th april 2007..

took public transport down to kl, reached LRT hangtuah at 340pm. tHEN, went to hunt for prezzies.. thought of getting her a cross in a tube.. (sounds wrong??.. its a pendant-those you carve ur name on the rice n put it inside a small tube??) then tak dapat.. went to sungei wang..search search search, found a cross pendant.. then, continue finding.. till i know, i'm lack of time (rushing to midvalley later for a farewell party) then went back to the stall n got her the pendant (prays hard, hope she likes it)

Went back to times square, heard of this F1 exhibition at LG i think.. then i terthink.. eh, mybest friend loves F1 wor.. somemore her fav racer is kimi raikonnen wor.. how? Try for luck to win F1 tickets for her lo

So the embarassment starts..

The question was.. 1) Who won the 1999 Malaysian Grand PrIX?
2) wHAT is the maximum capacity of F1 Circuit in sepang

Basically i went up to try..
so there's two hosts.. and me alone

You'll of course introduce urself first rite??..so here's roughly the conversation

Host : What is your name miss?

Me : Michelle

Host: So michelle? Are you a F1 fan?

Me: ( eVEN i'm nt a die hard fan.. but u'r on stage to win tickets.. so my ans?) YES..of course

Host: So what's your favourite team?

Me: ( THe moment the word team came.. the word FERRARI came) OH..fErRARI lor

Host: So who's your favourite racer?

Me: Schumacher of course ( Is this how his name is spelt?)

Host: sO Do you think he'll win the race this weekend?

Me: ( wITHOUT much thinking) of course.. DEFINITELY.. den (mind bothered.. wait.. isn't he retired from racing?..shit.. total embarassment..)

Mana..tau.. she reinforce the statement

Host:BUt how is he GOING TO WIN.. when he's not even RACING?..

me: Yup.. that's right (volume decreased)

total silenceeeeeee..

in front of hundreds pairs of eyes, media and at the centre of the stage.. WITH THE MICROPHONE.. i suddenly felt so small.. so tiny.. and blushing..

Of course, i went up 5times, my closest ans was 125000 and Eddie Irwin from ferrari.. ish..the moment i noe its 130k.. i wanted to go up, but this man(went up 6 times) was ald walking up
(in my heart.. pls dun say 130k) but of course, he did, and he won the tickets..

sorry friend, i tried my best.. haha..not my luck..even given second chance to rearrange the puzzle.. dat host sengaja one.. embarass me another time, din tell me the conditions.. the moment i realize..wasted 30secs ald..sigh..so near..yet so far..
